Forest Department Training Programme
13–17 February 2025
A specialized skill development programme was conducted by SIHM for personnel from the Forest Department between 13 and 17 February 2025. The training was imparted under the guidance of Dr. Subhashish Mishra, Mr. Dhruv Bole, Mr. Major Hussain, Mr. Abhay Pratap Singh, and Mr. Rishiraj Singh. The programme focused on strengthening operational excellence and improving efficiency in resource management, eco tourism operations, and visitor engagement practices. Emphasis was placed on sustainable operational methods, adherence to safety protocols, and effective administrative coordination. Through structured sessions and practical inputs, participants were equipped with applied knowledge relevant to environmental service delivery. The initiative reflects SIHM’s continued commitment to supporting public sector capacity building and enhancing professional competencies within essential environmental services.
Homestay Sector Skill Development Programme
05–08 February 2025
Between 05 and 08 February 2025, SIHM conducted a focused skill development initiative for homestay operators. The programme was delivered by Dr. Subhashish Mishra, Mr. Dhruv Bole, Mr. Major Hussain, Mr. Abhay Pratap Singh, and Mr. Rishiraj Singh. The training concentrated on improving guest experience management, operational structuring, service quality standards, and sustainable hospitality practices. Through interactive workshops and simulated service scenarios, participants were provided with practical exposure to safety compliance, hospitality etiquette, and efficient operational planning. The programme contributed to enhancing service consistency while promoting professionalism and long term sustainability within the homestay sector.
Toran Hotel Staff Training Programme
06–10 January 2025
From 06 to 10 January 2025, a dedicated operational excellence training was conducted for Toran Hotel staff by Dr. Subhashish Mishra and Mr. Abhay Pratap Singh. The programme was designed to strengthen teamwork, improve quality service delivery, and enhance operational efficiency within hotel operations. Practical guidance was provided in areas such as guest handling, daily operational coordination, service standards maintenance, and inter departmental collaboration. The training reinforced structured service processes and elevated performance benchmarks, thereby contributing to improved organizational effectiveness. This initiative further demonstrates SIHM’s commitment to delivering industry oriented skill development interventions.
GLPC Training Programme
December 2024
In December 2024, SIHM organized a comprehensive hands on training programme in collaborati on with GLPC. The sessions were conducted by Dr. Subhashish Mishra, Mr. Dhruv Bole, Mr. Major Hussain, Mr. Abhay Pratap Singh, and Mr. Sabyasachi Dasgupta. The training emphasized operational efficiency, customer service standards, workflow optimization, and hospitality management practices aligned with industry benchmarks. A balanced integration of theoretical understanding and practical application was ensured through interactive exercises and case based discussions. Participants were systematically trained to enhance service delivery standards and operational coordination, thereby strengthening their professional effectiveness in dynamic working environments.
