In accordance with the AICTE Regulations, 2019, vide F. No. 1 101/PGRC/AICTE/Regulation/2019 dated 07.11.2019, a Student Grievance Redressal Committee has been constituted with the objective of addressing the grievances of students, staff, and members of the public.
An online facility has been provided on the Institute website for submission of grievances through grievance-redressal@sihm.ac.in .
The concerned students, staff members, and members of the public may approach the Grievance Redressal Committee and submit or register their grievances online.
The grievances shall be accessed by the GRC under the chairmanship of the chairperson/head of the committee, appropriate action shall be taken, and the decision of the GRC shall be communicated to the complainant.
The GRC shall convene as and when required to examine and determine the merits of the complaint.
The decision of the GRC shall be communicated to the complainant through email or SMS or shall be hosted on the Institute website.
In the event of any false or frivolous complaint, the GRC shall take appropriate action against the complainant.
Any student, staff member, or member of the public may lodge a grievance.
The grievance shall be submitted to the Grievance Redressal Committee (GRC).
The grievance may be submitted through email, in writing, or through the online grievance redressal system.
Every grievance received shall be forwarded to the Grievance Redressal Committee for consideration.
The complainant shall be provided with a timely acknowledgement of receipt of the grievance.
The GRC shall address the issue directly with the assistance of the concerned department. The complainant shall be kept informed, in a timely manner, of the action taken or the work in progress.
The final decision of the Committee shall be communicated to the complainant within 15 days of receipt of the complaint.
Once the matter has been resolved, the designated member of the Grievance Redressal Committee shall communicate a final update to the complainant regarding the matter.
The designated member of the Committee shall communicate the decision through email, and a copy of the case and decision shall be forwarded to the Chairperson or Head of the Committee and Principal.
The designated member shall maintain an updated record of all complaints received, actions taken, and their closure status.
The management may revise the procedure from time to time.

The GRC shall meet as and when requires and assess the merit of the complaint. The decision of the GRC will be intimated to the complainant through email / SMS / hosted in the website.
In case of any false / frivolous complaint, the GRC will take appropriate action against the complainant.
Students can submit their grievance online using the official Student Grievance Redressal Form.
